Luentotilaisuus Färbereissa

Tutkijat luennon pyörteissä.

Tutkijat ovat palanneet turvallisesti kotimaan kamaralle. On kuitenkin paras, että käsittelemme hieman matkamme loppupäässä pidettyä tutkimustulosten esittely- ja luentotilaisuutta.

Reilun viikon sinnikkäiden tutkimusten ja aineiston keräämisen jälkeen suhtauduimme hyvinkin luottavaisesti tulevaan tehtäväämme. Majapaikassamme, välillä hyvinkin alkeellisin, tutkimuvälinein tehdyt testit ja niistä saadut tulokset vakuuttivat meidät. Olimme sittenkin oikeilla jäljillä. Ongelmaksi muotoutui kuitenkin materiaalin kansantajuistaminen ja sen järjestäminen helposti ymmärrettävään muotoon. Onneksi hyvä ystävämme, tutkimuksissa mukana ollut, Superhero lupautui tulkkaamaan tekstimme elävälle yleisölle.

Viimehetkien kiivaat valmistelut tuottivat tulosta ,ja huolimatta pienistä teknisistä ongelmista luulen paikalle saapuneen yleisön ymmärtäneen tutkimuksiemme pääsisällön. Tottahan kyseessä oli vain alustava analyysi. Lopulliset päätelmät ja tutkimusmateriaalin järjestäminen jätettiin tarkoituksella myöhemmäksi ja ne tehdään Suomessa.

Luento oli jaettu kahteen osaan, joista ensimmäinen esitteli tehdyt kokeet (sanallisesti sekä videoin), ikään kuin loi pohjan niiden ymmärtämiselle, ja toinen tiivisti kokeiden tulokset päätelmiksi. Yleisöä paikalla oli hyvin ja se vaikutti sivistyneeltä ja aiheesta kiinnostuneelta.

(Researchers are now safely back in Finland but maybe it's best to write a little bit of our lecture in Färberei.


After more than a week of persistent collecting and studying of the research material we were quite confident as we were thinking about our task to come. Experiments and their results, done sometimes in quite primitive laboratory conditions in our quarters, were consistent. We were on the right track. The problem was, how to get the material in the form which people with no scientific background could understand. Luckily Superhero, who all the time took part in the researches, promised to do the translation to the live audience.

Arrangements done in a hurry were succesful and, besides some technical problems, I think the audience understood the main points of our researches. Of course it was just a preliminary analysis. Final thesis and a summary drawn from the results is done later on in Finland.

Lecture was divided in to two parts. The first part introduced the experiments (both orally and by video projection). It created the base for understanding the results. Second part summarized these results in to a thesis. There was quite a lot of audience and it seemed to be cultured and interested about the research.

Tutkija Nivala palasi muovijuustojen maahan

Tutkija Nivala joutui äkillisesti palaamaan takaisin Friedrich Schlegeliä koskevien tutkimustensa pariin Suomeen. Taian vaikutus tuntuu vain heikkona tässä muovijuustojen maassa. Kaikesta huolimatta hän aikoo valvoa lopullisia koeolosuhteita Färbereilla kaukovarjostimen välityksellä.

(Unexpectedly, researcher Nivala had to return back to Finland, because of his studies concerning Friedrich Schlegel. The presence of der Zauber is only weak in this land of plastic cheeses. He is nevertheless going to monitor the final research situation at the Färberei via telescreen.)

Neuschwanstein

Yhä pidemmälle ja pidemmälle läpi historian matkattuamme, yli laaksojen ja lumihuippuisten vuorten vaellettuamme, saavuimme Neushwansteinin linnan juurelle. Mysteeri on auennut, ja olemme nähneet sen rumat kasvot. Kuningas Ludvig II on kuollut, kauan eläköön Ludvig II.

Starnbergerjärvellä tekemiemme tutkimusten tulokset paljastavat totuuden vain osittain. Murhattiinko kuningas vai onko hänen elämänsä ollut vain historioitsijain houreunta. Neushwansteinin linnassa päämäärättömästi vaeltelevat japanilaiset turistit estävät pääsymme totuuteen. Totuutta ei ole. Tämä muurahaispesä, jota linnaksi kutsutaan, ei voi olla alkuperä.


Vuorokausien uurastus on ollut turhaa. Meidän ei olisi tarvinnut nähdä tätä surullista näytelmää. Kohtalo on antanut meille opetuksen, joka tuntuu liian kovalta hyväksyä. Luottamuksen on palauduttava. Muovisen peilin takana on vain tyhjyys. Yksin heijastus katsojan kasvoista kohoaa lopulliseksi merkitykseksi. Missä on arvokkuus, jota sielumme on niin pyyteettömin aikein etsinyt aina ihmiskunnan aamunkoitosta tähän päivään.

Kuhisevat massat kulkevat loputtomia, kuninkaan irvokkaiden muotokuvien valvomia, käytäviä muodostaen alati muuttuvan temppelin mauttomuudelle ja visvaisille rahanvaihtajille. Ylensyönnistä uupuneet ratsastavat vuorelle, lähemmäksi aurinkoa, rautahevosen kylkiluiden tunkkaisessa varjossa tarkkaillen maailmaa lasisen seinän lävitse.

Tutkijat laskeutuvat vuorelta, luopuvat kilpajuoksusta aikaa vastaan ja löytävät hetken. Hetken, joka on nyt. Taika on sittenkin olemassa! Matkamme ei ole ollut turha.

Researchers and the Alps.



(After travelling further and further through history over valleys and snowy mountaintops we arrived at the castle Neuschwanstein. Mystery has been revealed and yes, we saw its ugly face. King Ludwig II is dead, Long live king Ludvig II.

Results of the Lake Starnbergs experiments shows only a part of the truth. Was the king murdered or was his life just a dream of the historians. Japanese tourists wandering aimlesly in the castle Neuschwanstein are blocking our way towards the truth. There is no truth. This beehive resembling a castle can‘t be the origin.

Days of work has been in vain. It wouldn't have been necessary to see this tragic play. Destiny has given us a harsh lesson too hard to accept. We have to recover our trust. Beneath the plastic mirror there is only void. Only the reflection of the face of the viewer is the final meaning. Where is the dignity which our souls unselfishly have been searching from the dawn of the human kind til present days.

Swarming masses walking trough endless hallways guarded by the portraits of the king, are forming ever changing temple for kitch and filthy moneylenders. The ones tired from gluttony are riding with steelhorses.They are sitting in the shadow of the horses ribcage watching the world through the glass wall as they get closer the mountaintop and the sun.

The researchers are getting down from the mountain, giving up racing against time and discovering the moment. The moment which is present right now. Magic is here after all. Our journey was not pointless.)

Starnberger See

MVET ja Superhero tutkivat kuollutta joutsenta. Voisiko tämä sekava vyyhti alkaa purkatua tämän vihjeen myötä?

Supersankarin johdattamana saavuimme Starnbergerjärven rannalla. Saattaa olla, että voimme saattaa tutkimukset loppuun hyvinkin nopeasti. Vedessä olevan ristin juurella tehdyn kokeen tulokset ovat yhteneväiset aiempien kanssa. Seuraava tutkimuskohde tullee olemaan alpeilla. Taian läsnäolo on voimakkaampi.

Tähän mennessä olemme saaneet ainoastaan heikkoja vihjauksia kaiken takana olevasta. Yhteenliittävän teorian luominen tulee olemaan raskas ja monivaiheinen tehtävä, mutta luotan ammattitaitoomme ja kykyymme toimia paineen alla. Ajan monikerroksellisuus läpi historian on tällä hetkellä ongelmistamme pahin. Miten saamme liitettyä sen olemassaolevaan ja siitä, aivan oikein, tähän mennessä tehtyihin laskelmiin ja kaavoihin.

Ainoastaan luopumisen ja sille annetun lupauksen lunastuksen kautta voimme syntyä uudelleen ja paljastaa verhotun.

(Superhero showed us the way to the shores of Lake Starnberger. Our current research might be finished quite soon. Outcomes of the experiments done by the cross on the water are equal to the earlier ones. Location for the next experiment might be on the alps. Presence of the magic is more intense.

So far we have got only weak evidences pointing to beyond existence. Creating a theory, which will enclose the results, will be both hard and include many phases. Still, I believe in our expertise and in our ability to work under pressure. Nature of this multilayered time through history seems to be our biggest problem. Will it be possible for us to conclude it in existing and to the calculations done, correctly, including it.

Only by renunciation and through the promise given to it, it's possible to be reborn and reveal the hidden)

Maaseutu

Baijerilainen maaseutu koostuu pienistä toisiaan lähellä olevista asutuskeskuksista sekä pelloista. Jokaisen asutuskeskuksen keskellä on kirkko, huolimatta siitä kuinka lähellä sijaitsee seuraava. Erään teorian mukaan juuri kirkon läheisyydestä on löydettävissä kylän paras ruokapaikka. Teoria on vahvistettu omakohtaisesti siltä osin, että siinä tuntuu olevan teorioille ominainen poikkeus.

(Bavarian countryside contains small villages close to each other and fields. In the middle of every village there seems to be a church, no matter how near the next church is located. According to some theory, the best restaurant in the village is always near the church. We have confirmed the theory to be correct by finding out there is an exception in theory.)

Aikaisemmat tutkimukset ovat johdattaneet ryhmämme kohti luontoa. Lähdimme aamulla kaupungista joen vartta ylävirtaan. Urbaanin ympäristön jäätyä taakse löysimme tutkimuksillemme täydellisen kohteen. Sattumanvarainen kohtaaminen naishenkilön kanssa sai tutkijat muuttamaan jälleen kerran suunnitelmiaan. Johnny Amoren vanha tuttu, Supermuusa, toi dramaattisella tavalla mukanaan tuulahduksen mystiikkaa.

Onko todellakin mahdollista, ettemme ole pystyneet ottamaan kaikkia muuttujia huomioon. Tuloksiin vaikuttaa jokin voima, mitä emme ole ennakoineet. Baijerin kultturiperinnössä piileviä merkityksiä ei ole ulkomaalaisena helppo tulkita. Olemme päätyneet nimeämään tuntemattomen muuttujan taiaksi (der Zauber). Kaikkialla avoimesti esilläpidettyjen joutsenkuvien symbolimerkitykset ovat meille epäselviä, mutta mittausten tuloksia ei voi kieltää: Tämä Suomessakin mytologisia ulottuvuuksia omaava lintu on osa suurempaa palapeliä, jonka ratkaisuun objektiivis-loogilliset instrumenttimme eivät sovellu.

Hämärässä kohti totuutta haparoivan tutkijan mielen on taivuttava jotta se ei murtuisi: Taika on olemassa.


(Former researches have lead us towards the nature. After leaving urban environment we went upstream the river and found a perfect site for our experiment. By a chance we met a female person, which made the researchers once again change their plans in a dramatic way. Supermuse, a woman Johnny Amore already knew, brought a mystic element in to our journey.

Is it really possible that we haven't recognized all the factors. There is some unknown power disturbing our researches. There is hidden meanings in the bavarian cultural heritage, which aren't easy for foreigner to interpret. We decided to use a word "magic (der Zauber)" to describe this unknown factor. Symbolical meanings of the pictures of the swan, openly presented in Bavaria, remains obscure for us, altough it's not possible to deny the measuring results of the experiments. This bird, also mythical in finnish folklore, is a part of the bigger picture and the riddle can't be solved with our objectiv-logical instruments.

Mind of a researcher wandering towards the truth in the dark has to bend not to break: Magic exists.

Haus der Kunst

Koetilanne Haus der Kunstin takapihalla keskiviikkoyönä onnistui yli odotusten. Koetulokset osoittavat selvästi johonkin menneisyydessä. Meidän on uskallettava porautua syvemmälle historiaan ja luotettava mittausvälineistöömme, kuinka uskomattomia lukemia ne näyttävätkään.

Jälleen kerran Johnny Amoren panos on osoittautunut korvaamattomaksi. Jäljet johtavat Münchenin ulkopuolelle, maaseudulle. Seuraava kohde tulee olemaan määräävässä roolissa projektin onnistumisen kannalta. Tässä vaiheessa on mahdotonta luoda aukotonta teoriaa mittaustulosten tueksi, mutta luulen ratkaisun olevan lähellä.

Viime päivät ovat olleet raskaita sekä fyysisesti että henkisesti. Ainoastaan pakottava tarve aidon totuuden löytämiseksi ajaa tutkimuskeskusta eteenpäin. Illan viimeiset ajatukset, ennen uupuneena petiin kaatumista, kiertelevät itsepintaisesti työn ympärillä. Emme voi antaa periksi nyt, sillä on mahdollista, että olemme jättäneet jonkin etenemissuunnan huomioimatta.

(Experiment on the backyard of Haus der Kunst wednesday night was succesful beyond expectations. The results are clearly pointing to something in the past. We must have the courage to go deeper in to the history, how unbelievable the results of the measurements might be.

Once again Johnny Amores performance in the experiment was crucial. The traces leads outside of Munich, to the countryside. Next object will play very important role for succeeding on the project. At this stage, it's impossible to create a complete theory to correspond with the test results, but I think we're getting close to a solution.

Last days have been tiresome both physically and mentally. Only the urge to find the final truth drives the Research Centre forwards. Every night before falling to bed exhausted, our minds persistently encircle the days work. We cannot give up because it's possible that we have missed some clue.)

Lasten asialla

Königsplatz on aukio joka olemassaolollaan muistuttaa edelleen erinäisistä hässäköistä n.kuudenkymmenen vuoden takaa. Nyt kaupungin vaalikuumeen ollessa kuumimmillaan oikeistopuolueen vaalimainos on saanut karvoitusta tuttuun paikkaan. Saksalaisetkin siis osaavat tehdä pilaa menneisyydestään.

Königsplatz is remembered from some things that happened in last century. As you can see from the picture, Germans can also make jokes about their past.

Beuys are back in town

Haus der Kunstin takapihalta löytyi roskalava. Käyttökelpoisen tavarapaljouden keskeltä pilkoitti tutun kuuloinen nimi. Olisiko niin että taidelaitoksen siivoustyöntekijä olisi jälleen erehtynyt?

We found a dumbster at the background of Haus der Kunst. In the middle of the useful stuff there were familiar sounding name. Would it be so that some cleaning woman of the art museum had made a mistake again.

Maailmanmestareita ja pyhimyksiä

Tällä kentällä joka sijaitsee lähellä tutkijoiden majapaikkaa Giesingin kaupunginosassa kirmaili aikanaan pallon kanssa eräs pikkupoika nimeltään Franz Beckenbauer. Myöhemmin tämä keisariksikin tituleerattu kikkarapää johdatti Länsi-Saksan maailmanmestaruuteen ensin kotikaupunkinsa upealla olympiastadionilla pelaajana vuonna 1974 ja myöhemmin valmentajana 1990. Nykyisin herra asustelee jossain itävallan puolella.

Mutta ei se mitään. Allekirjoittaneella oli kunnia nähdä elävänä tuon vuoden -74 mestarijoukkueen kovaotteinen puolustaja Hans-Georg Schwarzenbeck. Tämä harmaantunut herrasmies pitää nykyisin pientä kauppaa lähellä Isar-joen vartta. Kovin ovat asiat muuttuneet 34 vuodessa. Nykypäivän mestarit ansaitsevat jo pelatessaan sellaisia summia ettei kaupan pidolle peliuran jälkeen ole tarvetta. Mestareita yhtä kaikki.

Superhero Johnny Amore

Tapasimme paikallinen kontaktimme Johnny Amoren. Teimme ensimmäisen tieteellisen kokeemme eilen. Amore sattui paikalla kesken koetilanteen ja muutti sen täysin. Luulen, että joudumme muuttamaan suunnitelmiamme. Supersankari on tuonut uuden tuoreen näkökulman tutkimukseemme. Baijerissa tuntuu olevan jotakin salaperäistä, jota emme pysty tarkalleen määrittämään. Jätämme toistaiseksi kesken olevan tutkimuksemme ("Post-work-trauma of working class women in industrial environment and its effects to the financial balance in EFTA also known as the von laurentian mirror effect") sillä tämä vaatii lisäkokeita.

Johnny Amore lupautui johdattamaan meitä mahdollisiin koepaikkoihin. Meidän on jalkauduttava maastoon ja alettava tehdä käytännön tutkimustyötä. Minusta tuntuu, että olemme jonkin suuren jäljillä.

(We have met our local contact Johnny Amore. We were doing our first scientific experiment when he all of the sudden arrived and the direction of experiment changed completely. I think we must change our plans. The superhero has brought a whole new perspective to our current experiments. There seems to be something hidden in Bavaria. Something we are not quite able to define. We must leave our current experiments on subject "Post-work-trauma of working class women in industrial environment and its effects to the financial balance in EFTA also known as the von laurentian mirror effect", because this situation demands further studying.

As Johnny Amore promised to take us to the possible sites for our experiments to come, we must start the experiments on these locations. I think something important is about to reveal itself to us if we just keep on working.)

Färberei

Kulttuurikeskus Färberein sisäänkäynti.

Eilisen päivän turistikohteiden lisäksi tutustuimme myös kulttuurikeskus Färbereihin, joka tulee olemaan Tutkimuskeskuksen matkan pääkohde. Seitsemäs päivä maaliskuuta tulemme esittelemään kyseisessä paikassa matkalla tekemiemme tutkimusten tuloksia saksalaisyleisölle.

(In addition to touring the tourist attractions yesterday, we also visited culture center Färberei, which will be a big part of our trip here. On the 7th of March Research Centre will do a presentation about the scientific results of this journey to Bavaria.)

Frauenkirche

Tämä talo on jo yli viisisataa vuotta vanha.
(This house is over five hundred years old.)




Vaikka München onkin tällä hetkellä yksi suurista taloudellisen kasvun keskuksista rakennuskanta tuntuu olevan vanhaa ja epämodernia. Mistä tämä ristiriita johtuu, sitä on vaikea sanoa. Tuntuu kuin baijerilaiset nauttisivat vanhojen rakennustensa korjaamisesta sen sijaan, että he rakentaisivat uusia toimivia asuin- ja toimistotaloja niiden vanhojen paikoille, parhaille alueille Münchenin keskustaan.

(Even though Munich is one of big centers for economical growth, properties in the city are quite old and not very modern. Why is that, is hard to say. Instead of tearing down the old houses and building new ones in the center of town, they prefer fixing the old ones and apparently they must be enjoying it.

Vaalit

Baijerilainen puolue vetoaa äänestäjiin yksinkertaisella, mutta tehokkaalla vaaliohjelmallaan. Ohjelma sisältö on kuvassa näkyvän mainoksen kaltainen: Tupakointi yleisissä tiloissa lailliseksi.

Tutminuskeskus liittyi eilen illalla yksityisen tupakkaklubin kantajäseniksi täten turvaten jäsenilleen mahdollisuuden nauttia nikotiinituotteista myös sisätiloissa.

Saapuminen Müncheniin

Messiaaninen Visuaalisen Etiikan Tutkimuskeskus saapui Müncheniin.
(Messianic Research Centre for Visual Ethics has arrived to the Munich airport.)


Tutkimuskeskus saapui eilen iltapäivällä Müncheniin. Tämä päivä varattiin nähtävyyksien tarkasteluun ja illalla tulemme tapaamaan paikallisen kontaktimme Johnny Amoren. Paikallinen kulttuuri näyttäytyy myönteisessä valossa ja sää on suosinut kaupungilla tehtäviä kävelyretkiä.

Lämpötila on noussut tänään jopa 17 asteeseen varjossa sen yleensä tähän aikaan vuodesta pysyessä alle nollan.

(Research Center arrived to Munich yesterday afternoon. We reserved this day for tourist attractions and in the evening we are going to meet our local contact Johnny Amore. Local culture appears to us in a positive way. Weather has been very good for wandering around the town.

Temperature has raised to 17 degrees when it normally is under zero at this time of the year.)
